This site provides information on schools in Ghana. It will be useful to those who are sponsoring school costs of children or students at various schools in Ghana. Information provided by students, parents, schools or the ministry of Education can be inadequate or confusing. We want to present information here so that sponsors have some reference to work with when they are confronted with requests for funding of persons, schools or activities.

We also want to include more general information about the school system in such a way that it is clear to outsiders. E.g. how private or public schools are financed, school fees, school feeding programme, capitation grant and various sponsorship programs, NGOs and other ways of supporting kids etc. And practical information on how you can arrange funding, transfer money or monitor progress efficiently.
